sound volume

Now When I get Gxine work I noticed that when I try to adjust the volume it doesn't affect. Sounds are working perfectly and I'm using SiS i810_audio but what is wrong with volume control? Oh and when I take settings from gxine and slide the amplifier bar my sounds adjusting but not with volume bar?

Try alsamixer. (you will need to be root)

When you have finished, run "alsactl store"

I hope this helps (It is all I can think of )
