Sound program to allocate my surround sound channels
Hi there,
I have a quadraphonic sound system hooked up to my PC, through my motherboard on board sound, which does everything from 2 channel to 7.1. Anyways It has various analog output jacks for each speaker set. I have four speakers and in windows I use the ASUS realtek program, which allows me to choose between, 2, 4, 6 and 8 speakers. However I cannot figure out how to do the same in linux ? Is there a program to help me do this ? I am using suse 10.2 Thanks Christof |
try 'alsamixer'; search for the terms alsa mixer in your favorite package manager, try one with a GUI if you don't like alsamixer. Best of luck :)
