sound problem for a game under wine. snddrv.dll error

Hi

Ive installed a game, No one lives forever 2, under wine.
when the game starts there is some background sound. when
it goes to the actual game a pop up comes up and says
ILT soundsys error
Failed to initaize sound driver Snddrv.dll
execution may terminate
click ok.

Ive checked for the driver, it is in the game folder, I copied
it to system 32, windows, and the main game folder one at a time
and restarted the game each time. each time it gave the
same error.

Im not sure where it wants the file or if it is something else.
My computer is an IBM T40 laptop, 1.4 ghz 1 gig of ram,
Ubunutu 7.04.

Thanks for your help in advance

Vanessa
