OS:
    Dual Boot: Grub
    1. Windows XP
    2. Fedora Core 2

Problem:
    1. Sound:
            When i installed fedora core 2 from the set of 4 CDs. Sound was 
        working perfectly but after few days it just stoped... i don't know
        why or how.
    2. Display:
            The graphical boot up crashes and nothing apears on screen. I
        have to explicitly suppress by editing the grub entry by removing
        the "rhgb" from it.
            The crazy thing is that the display (X) is working after in RunLevel 
        Five (5). It also crashed sometimes... for which, just from diagnostics 
        point of view i booted into runlevel 3 of "init" and issued command 
        "startx". which failed and showed some error related to "agpart".
             Then i tried starting display using "xdm". which to my surprise 
        worked and gave me the login screen. after which even the graphical 
        boot worked properly and the display in run level 5 but only for few (2)
        consecutive instances, after which it again crashes and i follow the 
        same routine with xdm; which again works...
