the intel 810 should be detected pretty easily by your install progs. it will just be a generic svga driver tho.

i just read a few small quips i found about SoundMax, and it looks like you might have problems with it. it's a card that allows the cpu to do much of the work of the sound card... which is cheaper, but requires a driver... often proprietary. the ac97 kernel modules often can handle this, but i wouldn't guarantee it.

are you getting any errors while trying to install them?

Exclamation

The problem arised when I changed my motherboard. At first I was using SiS6215C graphics card and Creative Sound Blaster while installing Linux. Now I have changed my mother board. The new configurations are:

Sound Card : SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio.

Graphics Card : Intel 810 Chipset Graphics Driver.

What do I need to do to configure these card without having to re-install Linux once again. What is the setup file for these to. What files do I need to modify?
