Can I see created a lot of jpg files with the video secuence.
MPlayer 1.0pre5-3.4.1
is a little bit outdated - try the Mplayer pre7 instead
(should come whith a lot of codecs .. as the newest wmv windows media codecs)
That should fix your problems ..
You may also get w32-codecs for Xine ?
lol i love linux too... i want to switch distro's but my CD tray broke off (i stepped on it by accident lol) so i gotta buy a new one before i get the chance to... i kinda wanna try gentoo
There was a basic problem with the video output driver that was using mplayer.
When I try without arguments I got sound but no video:
[jammauser@irontux tmp]$ mplayer Rana\ con\ Moto3.wmv
But when I tried with -vo gl all change and I could se video and ear sound even when my old version
and the new one as well I mean MPlayer 1.0pre5-3.4.1 & MPlayer 1.0pre7-3.4.1
[jammauser@irontux tmp]$ mplayer -vo gl Rana\ con\ Moto3.wmv
Great !!!! can I see again my videos...........
Just to avoid to do it again and again (-vo gl) I've edited my config file as follow:
[jammauser@irontux .mplayer]$ cat config
# Write your default config options here!
vo = gl
[jammauser@irontux .mplayer]$ pwd
/home/jammauser/.mplayer
[jammauser@irontux .mplayer]$
lol im an idiot... i just got done changing that for mine when i set up mplayer (about 2 weeks ago) but i got video just distorted and the -vo fixed it... sorry i didnt reolize that lol...
