Hi, when I first used DVD shrink through wine some weeks ago after I used VOBCOPY and mkisofs to creat an iso file shrink recognised, I could open the file in shrink, it would automatically then back up that file replacing the first (replacing say a 7gb iso with a 4.4gb iso)

Now when I try this after a reinstall of my operating system (MDK10) it no longer creates the iso, if I select the destination as iso then navigate to where the older larger file is kept I am told no can do, if I rename to an alternate file name I get some stange data chugged out in Kwite files then vob files which have no semblance or order, instead I use the file option to create the whole backed up file structure which I then have to MKISOFS again to get the DVD image. Admittably this extra step although a pain does not take so long, but as always Linux nuts want to know why. Any ideas what has gone wrong?
