. I am trying to connect my mixer to my computer to record some wave files. After a bumpy start, I figured where all the wires are going. All good there... Now I want to record using GNOME's soundrecorder. Well... the soundrecorder does something, but when I want to play it, first of all, I am not hearing anything but noise (might be a problem with the soundrecorer mixer, not the external mixer) and second of all, soundrecorder hangs and then crashes on me.
This seem to be a bug reported before on the GNOME website... problem is, I am a newbi and I have no clue on the whole wide world what those people in that forum are talking about. Something about duplicating something somewhere....., actually here's a sample of what they're saying:
