Talking Some simple IceWM questions...

Hey all I have Slackware Linux 9.1 and I just installed IceWM. I just have a couple of questions.

-Does anyone have a simple little link to iceprefs? I have a couple of other control centers for icewm but i wanna try Iceprefs and I cant seem to find it.

-Can you put desktop icons on IceWM? I heard something about a program that does that but I can't remember what it's called...

Thank you for you time

Try

http://icesoundmanager.sourceforge.n...or_example.php

for IceWM Control Panel, which includes iceprefs.

It works very well with the latest version of IceWM, less well with earlier ones (but still works).

I had to reinstall it from the "static" binary yesterday because somehow the Python GTK module disappeared from my existing version's sight, and I have no idea how to get it back to where it would be recognized.

I've had more bad luck with Python stuff not being found by programs needing it, on my computer, than with any other single thing except writing CD-R's, which I've just about given up on.

Anyway, I hope you will like IceWM as much as I do. It's just so much more useful for me than any other WM I've tried. And it has never crashed one single time.
