some newbie questions

I'm very new to Linux (I just installed it on my computer yesterday) and I have a few questions. I'm using SuSE Linux 10.0 and I have been having some minor problems such as having to search for graphics drivers and MP3/MPEG codecs. I was wondering if SuSE Linux Professional (or any other distribution) included these in the installation CDs?

yes the retail version is free to contain non-gpl software. These are easily added to your version though, so as long as you can do without the support and paper documentation you're going down the right road.

cheers
