Unhappy some kde applications not execute in RHL 7.2 on login as root

i've dual OS win2000 and RedHat linux 7.2 on my PC.
RH Linux 7.2 is installed on a 8GB partition as a SERVER Configuration. the pc boots fine but the problem starts arising somedays ago when i login as a root in KDE session.
after logging as root some applications of KDE won't work like KConsole, KOrganizer, even konquerer does not run. when i click on anyone of these applications shortcuts like KConsole & KOrganizer. a window of the application opens and flashes on the screen for a second and then goes out. in case of Konquerer & Help after clicking on shortcut, hard disk activity starts, remain for sometime and then stops and no window comes of Konquerer or Help.
i've to use the "GNOME terminal" for console that appears in utilities. i.e; the problem appears in KDE applications only when login as a root. even KDevelop is not working in ROOT login. but all applications are working fine in other user logins. so, please specify where is the problem exists.
i've deleted the partition, again installed RH Linux 7.2 as a SERVER installation. but the problem still remains there. so, please take a look at it. thanks.

i'm having 128MB RAM, and configured 8MB for video ram when asked for it while configuring XServer by XConfigurator.
i'll sent the output of "sar 1 10" in next reply.
