SOLUTION: Apache 2.0 SSL and RedHat
Didn't find this anywhere else, so I thought I'd put it here:
I Couldn't compile SSL components for Apache 2. Found that mod_ssl.h was requesting a symbol from "err.h" which is part of the openssl package. However, RedHat ships with an err.h for other purposes in the default include path. /usr/include/err.h <wrong one> /usr/include/openssl/err.h <right one> Modified <SRC>httpd-2.0.47/modules/ssl/mod_ssl.h On line 126 - changed this: #include <err.h> to this #include "openssl/err.h" This may be related to my tendancy of installing redhat as "EVERYTHING", instead of carefully picking packages, but regardless - this seems to work if anybody else runs into this issue. |
