Software to read .mpp document (MS Project)
Is there any free software on the Internet to open and read MS Project (.mpp) documents?

In linux no, but for MS there is software that will convert .mpp files. It's called Smartworks Project Reader.
You download the converter and convert to a .ppr file. Then you download the PPR Reader to read it. Not perfect, but does work.

Only used it a couple of times. It was on a MS Project 2003, and worked fine. Maybe contact Smartworks, they may know.
