Software to archive and view mbox mail

I've been looking for software to archive and view mbox mail.

More specifically, I can export email messages from Thunderbird into mbox files. Once there, I would like to view and read them, away from my mail client.
Additionally, it would be nice being able to classify them, delete some and archive others, according to their importance.
So far the closest program that seems to provide these functions is Kom.

Any opinions or other suggestions?

Why not une the Maildir format? Then deleting a mail is just a matter of deleting the file, and mail folders are simply filesystem folders where classification is concerned.

I personally use BincIMAP along with Postfix (and Fetchmail), and thus all my mail resides in ~/Maildir/.
