Software on Linux equivalent to PaperPort on Win

Hi folks,

I have been using

- PaperPort

on Win for a prolonged time. It is a plaform running on Win for scanned images. On it you can edit images, sorting images, stacking images as a file/book, etc. I have been searching for its replacement on Linux from open source without result. On Linux scanning and editing images are not problem but I could not find an easy solution for stacking scanned images as file, moving pages on the file, eding images directly on the file after stacking.

There are equivalent for PaperPort on Win such as
-PageKeeper
-Omnipage
etc.
but non of them for Linux.

Could any folk on the List shed me some light. I expect migrate to Linux completely, not jumping from Linux to Win and vice versa daily.

Thank in advance and Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm in the same position, I've used PaperPort on Windows for several years and the lack of a replacement is the one thing that is holding me back from ditching Windows entirely.

Did you ever find a solution?

Cheers

Peter

Hi Peter,

I haven't continued on this project for sometimes. Because I only use PaperPort 3/4 times a year. I haven't found an easy solution yet.
