Software Issues


I am getting used to Linux a bit now and have my net working etc now, but I keep getting a common problem when installing things like "Wine"

can anyone tell me what I can possibly do to resolve this thx

EDIT: I am using slackware 9.1

You need to get all those packages...or if you have some of them, put the path to them in /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig. If I were you I'd google those packagenames and try to get them off the slack cdrom.

When you installed Slack, did you NOT install everything? Is that why you don't have these files?

You should really install all libraries if you are new to linux. You would have a lot less problems down the road, etc.
