Software as deb files and carrying them over with a USB


Where can i Download Software Debs Using a windows xp computer carrying them over a USB and installing them on my Ubuntu Laptop I have try getdeb but none of them work (I am Wireless Bigpond Home gateway and it needs drivers to work on ubuntu, but there for windows only)

It would be simpler if you knew someone that was using Ubuntu then you could use http://keryxproject.org/

Or you can try http://sushi-huh.sourceforge.net/ since it works in windows as well.
