snes9x error help
 

Hey ive seen this problem repeated searching around the net but cant find a real solution. (plus im pretty new to linux...really new)

im running fedora 5 on ps3 and have installed snes9x but when i try to run any rom i get this error:

X Error of failed request: XF86DGANoDirectVideoMode
Major opcode of failed request: 137 (XFree86-DGA)
Minor opcode of failed request: 1 (XF86DGAGetVideoLL)
Serial number of failed request: 11
Current serial number in output stream: 11



does anyone know how to get around this problem? other people have had the same problem not on the ps3 so its not an isolated problem.
