Could someone please recommend any good snapshot tool for my RedHat Linux. I searched in Google and got some but I dont know which is easy to use and which is better?

Thanks.

screenshot? GIMP

The GIMP has the ability to take screenshots, if that is what you mean by snapshots.

Thanks.
I didn't know Gimp can take screenshots. But now I can do with it.

I have red hat 8.0 on one of my machines. If I use the default BlueCurve window manager, rather than KDE or Gnome, I can simply hit the PrintScreen key and that pops up a little app called Screenshot.

Isn't the default Desktop manager for RH8 Gnome? I thought Bluecurve was just a theme for gnome or KDE.

Well, maybe so, but I have a choice at the Session selection of KDE, Gnome, WindowMaker, Default, etc. Default, is BlueCurve, or so I thought. And I thought BlueCurve was a sort of cross between KDE and Gnome, or something. But it sure looks like Gnome. ;)

Anyway, I logged in and specifically selected Gnome and the PrintScreen key worked there also as I described.

regards...

edit: I've also used Gimp for screenshots and for shots of specific windows on the desktop. :)
