SMP (Dual CPU) Linux pitfalls.

Hello all,

I currently have a Dual Athlon XP 1700 box with 1GB ram, 160GB harddrive.

I am currently running Windows XP.

I would like to install Mandrake and Dual boot with it and WinXP, BUT:

does anyone know what programs don't work on a Linux SMP box? Does ALSA have a problem with it?

I appreciate your replies--I've never setup an SMP Linux box before (but I have installed Mandrake before.)
