Um, since I started with DOS in '84, I know a bit here.
Which makes me suspect that you will need to first *create* the DOS partition as a real, true, physical partition, ending below 8192MB and at less thancylinder 1024 of some hdrive. Then you should be avble to move it with some tool that knows this new ability to boot a --logical-- DOS partition.
Yes, I suspect you need to do *all* that; sorry, just that DOS is primitive (didn't I see Barney Rubble using it once? (
) (Fred Flintstone's friend/neighbor)).
DOS & WhinedoZZZe tools *WILL* convert the partition somewhat whilst relocating it to --logical--; this might or might not make it unbootable thereafter.
