Guitarist88 Member Registered: Feb 2004 Location: NY, USA Distribution: openSUSE 11 Posts: 240 Rep:	Slow MIDI Playback in VMWARE: Mandrake 10 host, Win 2000 guest Alright, I don't know if anyone here has any experience with this, but I'll try to make it as clear as possible with my feeble mind... I've been tied down to a crappy little OS known as Winders XPee for one reaon, Powertab, a guitar tablature editor with the ability to play tabs with midi output. Currently I have a dual boot situation in which I also run Mandrake Linux 10. The problem I have now is that I have installed VMware on my Mandrake 10 partition and used windows 2000 as a guest OS. When I playback powertab files the playback is real slow, no where near the right tempo. Does anyone know what is going on? Yeah, I know all my post have been related to VMware, and I hope this is the last time I have to post concerning it too! Thanks for the help!
