Slax Live CD - change boot splash

Do any of you guys / gals know how to change the boot splash, when customizing a Slax Live CD?

I have not found any documentation on the Slax site, but I figured someone here would be able to help!

also, if you know how to update menu items and roll them into a .mo, that would be a great help!
