HMm... Okay, so I got the CD Key in, and now iwhen the game starts, the screen gets all booty, and it scrolls when I take the mouse to the side. And when the game tries to start, it up and crashes. Just the game, not the whole machine.

Anyone know why?

I have a problem with Wine too, here goes :

I'm trying to install a game from my cdrom drive (/mnt/cdrom/setup.exe) but this is what happens :

root@darkstar:~# mount /mnt/cdrom
root@darkstar:~# su casper
casper@darkstar:/root$ wine /mnt/cdrom/setup.exe
Could not stat /mnt/fd0 (No such file or directory), ignoring drive A:
Could not stat /cdrom (No such file or directory), ignoring drive D:
x11drv: Can't open display:

I installed Wine from source by running ./tools/wineinstall but I never got a .wine dir unless you're reffering to the wine-YYYYMMDD/ dir that got created from running tar.

I copied the sample config file to that dir and edited the cdrom section to :

[Drive D]
"Path" = "/mnt/cdrom"
"Type" = "cdrom"
"Label" = "CD-Rom"
"Filesystem" = "win95"
; make sure that device is correct and has proper permissions !
"Device" = "/dev/cdrom"

By the way I get the same error messages about floppy and cdrom when typing $wine notepad.exe but eventually it starts up and works properly from what I can tell.
