Thanks for the reply. No, update-resolv-conf does not exist on Slackware. However, I did find a fix. I'd like to know if I've done anything unnecessary.

rob0 from ##Slackware and #openvpn for the above code. I then proceeded to remove the following lines from the provided
mullvad.conf file.
