Both xmms and mozilla are on the first install CD. Check out pkgtool as to how to install them.

To get out of slack, like the rest, from the command line:

shutdown -h now

Cheers,

Cool Slackware ;)

i also run slackware i have one of the latest slackware 8.0 took me a while to download on my 56k but its worth it. i use
shutdown -h -t 1 "now"
which means
shutdown
halt after shutdown n clean
-t is time value
and "now" is just an instance if u want but it is usally required
also keep studing linux it will always keep you learning
Enjoy
