skype suddenly complains about Qt

I updated my Qt libraries and added the qt-devel packages so that I could expirement with FluxBox last week. Skype was still working fine. Yesterday I installed wine. Now Skype won't start:

Code:
[root@chives Downloads]# skype
Fatal: Cannot mix incompatible Qt libraries
Aborted
[root@chives Downloads]#
I've removed wine and re-installed the latest version of skype. still it complains.

Closed source applications like skype are linked to a specific version of a library if you are using a higher library in most cases it will not work

Thanks for the response.

skype web site just says "Qt 4.2.1+" as a requirenment.

rpm says I have version 3.3.8, and yum says there isn't a new version ?!?!

Perhaps wine required some older version of Qt and now I've gotten myslef into trouble?

Did you install Skype with yum? I'm not familiar with your distro, isn't there a yum command to reinstall dependencies for a given package? You can have both QT generations installed, 3.x and 4.x.
