Considering Skype for Linux is in beta and there's a forum for Skype for Linux on Skype's website (click on help and then the forums link then go to the Skype for Linux section) and the developers of Skype for Linux participate on the Skype for Linux forums it's my opinion that that would be the best place to post your experiences with their beta program. In addition, there's one sticky thread in the Skype for Linux forum on Skype's website that addresses sound/device issues and includes screenshots, the name of the thread is "Linux sound FAQ" and it's very helpful for getting devices to work with Skype for Linux.

Which vice is that, typing in CAPS? Sorry, I couldn't resist. :P If you reply with a simple "thank you" it will generate a real smile on my face.
