Skype make system costantly crash on kubuntu 6.10
 

Hi....i'm using kubuntu 6.10 and my system crashes whenever i try to open skype...any help?...:Pengy:

Hello and welcome to LQ, hope you like it here. If you open a terminal window, then run Skype as "skype >/tmp/skype.err 2>&1" to save all output (if any) to logfile "/tmp/skype.err", then what are the contents of the file? In anything please post those *exact* lines. Could help.

Thank you for your help! I've executed your command but then i could not find the error log....i've tried to run skype again and this time it run perfectly for the first time in the last 15 days....dunno how...many thanks again!
