Skype in Mint Debian

Hi,

I am using the Dynamic Static version of Skype in Mint Debian OS, which uses pulseaudio.

Voice communication works OK but there is no ring sound in or out and test sound is greyed out.

Anyone any ideas please?

try install codeinia
if it is compatible in your distro
its works in mandriva

Thanks for the reply.

I have managed to install Skype properly now - do not know why it would not install first time. Deleted the static version and everything OK.
