Exclamation Skipping problem with XMMS

Hello all,

I'm currently new to linux and figuring things out pretty much on my own and with my handy "Linux for Dummies" book. After the disappointment of not being able to play MP3s right off the bat , I installed the MP3 plugin from the XMMS successfully. So I queued up some music and began surfing the net. As I switched through web pages i noticed that the music would skip. This ONLY happened when i changed pages. As i am a quick browser, this becomes very obnoxious. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please post, and thanks in advance.

Sounds like you are having some RAM problems to me. List your system's specs here.
