Sip problem in PyKDE

HI,

I have just installed sip, and pyQT in an attempt to install pyKDE in order to get slickbar working in superkaramba!

sip and pyQT both install fine but pyKDE refuses to install. Whenever i try, I get this error message...

*** Error: PyQt sip files directory -- not found
(['../', '/usr/local/', '/usr/local/src/', '/usr/src/', '/usr/share/sip', '/usr/local/share/sip', '/usr/share/sip/qt'], PyQt-x11-gpl-3.11/sip/qtmod.sip)

I am using slackware 9.1, and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and whether they were able to resolve it.

maybe it is one of life's great mysteries....
it makes no sense to me though, did a full install of slackware 9.1, first installed qscintilla, then sip, then pyqt, then attempted pykde and it gave pyqt sip library files not found...
has ANYONE gotten pykde to compile in slackware 9.1??? thx in advance
