simple way to make k9copy shrink dual layer to single layer DVD

I'm trying to get k9copy to simply copy a dual layer DVD to a single layer .iso image. What's the easiest way to do this?

Most commercial dvd's are double-layer anyway, so what's the problem? That's what it's designed to do. There's a setting in the program to limit the size of the new dvd/iso. Just set it to the size of a single-layer disk (4400mb), and it should simply shrink the thing to fit.

I read the file size too fast and thought it said 9.9GB when it really said 9.9MB, when I refreshed the folder it said 4.3GB. That's what happens when you don't sleep enough.

I thought I had posted this yesterday that I had realized my mistake but I guess it didn't post.
