simple small mail package
 

Hi, can anyone suggest me any mail package, that allows me to send emails, but DOESN'T have to receive emails, as small as possible, I am not sure if IMAP or SMTP client does this? I am not sure what the specific package name to look for, and there are a lot of irrelevant search results. In general, I am not sure exactly what I should be looking for at all.

SMTP is for sending, and sendmail is very often preinstalled to achieve this exact purpose so you may well need to do nothing. There are however specific packages designed purely for getting mail off of a box, e.g. - http://wiki.debian.org/sSMTP
