Question Simple console gui for firewall configuration on Debian

Hi,

I am migrating from Red Hat to Debian and I have problems to understand how the firewall for my server works.
Before I was using system-config-firewall on red hat console and I don't know where to find a similar tool on debian...

I have read things about iptable but it seems overly complicated.

Thank you.

You're gonna need to open Synaptic and search for an iptables GUI front end to install.

Maybe something like Firestarter or Guarddog would do the trick.

Maybe look at Shorewall then. If you've got testing/unstable enabled, you could also try ufw. Like I said earlier, if you open Synaptic and search you should find something that suits you.
