When i buils after translatingg the po file, login boot works well. but shut down messages are some unusual charachters(garbage value)....
The shut down messages are not converting.
I want ot koe y is this happening and what i need to do?

You need to install arabic fonts and recompile the kernel with support for arabic.

First build a kernel with Arabic support.

under Native Language Support (NLS) check Codepage 864 (Arabic)

Look for a kernel building howto if you have never built a kernel. It is not hard to do.

than install a Arabic font. Link below

I am really confused....
I have compiled the kernel for the NLS. and now, the same error persists.
I tried this. I removed the initscripts rpm from the system.
Then installed it again. When i reboot, the shutdown messages are in arabic. How come it happened.
Its really sick.
Help
