I use Slackware 11 full install and use kgpg all the time. The problem is the fact that the shredder program that comes with it does not run at all. When I try to open it by clicking on the icon on the desktop it just has the icon bounce for a little bit by the curser then eventually stops loading.

I have the feeling this is a slackware bug because I have the exact same problem on different computers, different hardware, pretty much different everything execpt the fact that it is a full 3gig install.

Any ideas to what it could be?

the icon is meant to drag and drop files onto it. It links to kgpg -X, that's why it won't open if you have already an instance of kgpg running.
Drag a file onto it, or try from the commandline: kgpg -X <filename>

lol. I think i tried that once and i guess it didnt work. it does now i guess i screwed up. not to mention i just assumed it was more like the pgp shredder.
