shared address book?
I work for a small company (about 8 people) and, since it's windows based, we lose computers to viruses and general cookiness pretty regularly. Every time the procedure is the same - backup documents, backup emails, backup email addresses, and reformat.
I'm now using an IMAP server which lets me avoid the backup emails step. I'm also using a central file server which lets me avoid backing up documents. But, I'm still backing up email addresses and having to reimport them when I'm done. Is there a way to avoid that too? Maybe something like an LDAP server that stores email addresses of 3rd parties? (on gnu/linux of course) |
