Several questions about mounting with Samba

Hello. I have a RedHat 9 with Samba 3, and have another computer with WinXP. I have several files on the WinXP hard-drive which contain hebrew filenames. Even though I've read a lot about this, I've no idea how to mount those shares onto Linux, using a proper encoding set.

Also, is it possible to add those mounts to the ftsab file so they are done automatically? If so, how?

I don't know about fstab, but in etc there's a file called rc.local which is excuted last during startup. Open it up and type

Quote:

mount //computername/share /mountpoint

If your share is password protected, you will have to enter the password at startup, as I'm not sure if there is a password switch.
