Setup is unable to find a hard disk location to store temporary files.

I am not sure this is the right forum to ask this but here goes anyway.

I am planing to use wine to emulate an enviroment were i could use Checkpoints VPN secure client (windows version) so i could connect to my companys network.

The company is using M-soft and i am using Mandrake 9.1.

when i am trying to install the VPN software i get the following messages, and the installation process interupts.

"Setup is unable to find a hard disk location to store temporary files. Please free....bla bla."

I have used winesetup to setup my wine enviroment.

Does anyone have an idea?

I solved the first problem bye downloading the latest nightly bulid of wine from winehq.

In the end of the installation process i got the following message:

"Failed to find a binding between a supported TCP/IP and an adapter......"

any ideas somebody?

is ur software M-SOFT wotever it is !! is it supported on wine .. i mean did u check with wine application database .. does it support that version of ur software .. i tried searching on wine hq database .. no M-SOFT listed .. is it server application or client application .. is the client application too ? check on application data base if u wanna see it working ... or maybe u cud use VMWARE ..
can u write the full error .. wot i get from this is
Failed to find a binding between a supported TCP/IP and an adapter......"
that some dll required by ur client application is not found or supported under wine .,..
