exactly what do want to do? you want that your clients from your PDC joining a samba share whitout the need of create user account in your linux box?

if you want LDAP support I recommend you samba 3.x because it has a better support for LDAP

SAmba aqnd Linux with Windows

I am trying to allow my windows users to accesss SAMBA shares on the network.

I would like to have them authenticate through the Windows Active Directory LDAP services so they do not need a separate login.
