Setting up my own internet radio station

I want to set up my own internet radio station but I can't find any application to do it. What applications I need to have?

A website I used to work for had a radio station, and I used the windows program "Virtual DJ" to connect to their shoutCAST server, which they had running on a linux system. I just asked him, and he gave me this link

That should help with your broadcasting, but you will need a static IP address and a fast broadband connection to get any real use out of it. Good luck!

Check the terms of service for your ISP--many do not allow you to set up a server to be accessed from the net. Thus you may need to get a domain name and a web-hosting account.
