set Sun java to be default JVM in Fedora 7

Hi all,

I have an application running in java but its not working with the native gjc in fedora 7. So i went ahead to install jdk_1.5 hoping to replace the native one but whenever i run

java -version

I get the original java is still installed. I want to know how to set the Sun JVM to be the default and if i have to export the paths to the Sun JVM what should i run?

Thank you in advance.

PS i have jre 6.0 installed....hope this will be of help
