Sendmail returned error code 111

We recieve the following error message when attempting to send email:

There was an error sending your message: sendmail returned error code 111

We are running Linux Red Hat 8.0, Qmail. I am currently google-ing for a solution.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi this can be easily fixed through a server reboot Hope that helps...
