sendmail relay same domain address

Okay, I've got a web server running Fedora Core 1. PHP scripts are wanting to send emails to people with in the organization. I was able to use SMART_HOST in the sendmail.mc file to get emails sent to addresses not on the domain through the mail server application on a windows box. Both the web server (linux) and mail server (windows) are on the same domain. When trying to send an email from the web server to a user in that same domain on the mail server it says unknown host. Would I use virtusertable or some thing else?
