Sendmail Question

hi

i have a question about rerouting the mail

i am using sendmail as mail server for my domain say abc.com

i had a user on this domain say user@abc.com for which the mail server handled the mail

now this user has left our organization

we have given 2 months time for the mail id to be valid but want that any mail addressed to

user@abc.com should be forwarded / rerouted to say user@xyz.com

how do i do this on my mail serve for abc.com

thanx in advance

rajan

server2:/ # vi etc/mail/virtusertable

Add

user@abc.com user@xyz.com

server2:/ # cd etc/mail
server2:/etc/mail # make

To update /etc/mail/virtusertable.db

Restart Sendmail

Should do the job

Pete
