sendmail: I can't find the file sendmail.mc

I would like to configure sendmail
I searched for the file called sendmail.mc but I can't find it
I readed many tutorila about senmail configuration and they said that a file sendmail.cf is created modifying the file sandmail.mc andh then
m4 sendmail.mc > sendmail.cf

but I can't see the file senmail.mc and in /usr/lib there isn't the directory sendmail.cf

I use slackware 10.1
anche the version of senmail is 8.13.3

This file would normally be in /etc/mail/ unless slackware puts it differently. Are you using locate to get it?
