But on my other mail server using sendmail version 8.11.6p2, I can received the excel file attachment.

How do you attach them? Is there anything on the receiving side that detaches files with macros (Antivirus)?

Seems it's just not accepting it. To test if it's AV you could try compressing the sheet and set a password. If it's AV they can't deal with that AFAIK.

Normal attachment only on outlook express, have not tried any other mail clients. I had procmail scripts in place block extensions like vbs, exe, com, jpg only, but even if I removed it on sendmail 8.14.1 it still blocks the attachment excel file with macro, but on sendmail 8.11.6p2, even if my filtering is applied the email with xcel macro attachment was received

I removed the AV installed to isolate if AV was the cause, the setup is just a plain mail server no AV, no ANTI SPAM apps installed.

Its quite weird that 8.11.6 accepts it Was there an implementation to automatically block attchment with macro on later versions, I was looking for docs about this but couldnt find one.

Just like the old snailmail envelope analogy explains e-mail is a "container" and (milters aside) Sendmail only looks at what's *on* the envelope. I'm pretty sure it's something in mail routing but not Sendmail itself.
