Angry Sendmail Connections

Hello, I have just setup sendmail with webmin. I can send mail threw the webmin interface, and I can also check my mail the same way. So the server is sending and recving mail. However, I can not get outlook to connect to my mail server. It will ask for my user name and password, when I enter them, it says the server disconnected it. I figure maybe my sendmail is not configured correctly. It is Sendmail 8 on a Red Hat 9 box. Does anyone have any Ideas? Thanks for you'r time.

Did you set up a pop3 server for outlook to connect to? I'm a newbie in email config purgatory also (see my thread on squirrelmail), but I do know that you need a pop3 server running to get an email client to work. I installed and used qpopper; I'm sure there are other choices as well.

FWIW,
