If a user account exists named "sathees" on the machine, you're already done. (Assuming sendmail is configured to receive and send mail, that is).
If not, make an entry in the file /etc/aliases that looks something like this:
sathees: real_user_id
and run the command "newaliases".
If you haven't configured sendmail yet, you need to look at /etc/mail/sendmail.mc (that's where it's usually kept, anyway, and it should probably be the only sendmail.mc file on your system in any case).
